Comparable to a motorycyle helmet in both fit and form, the abrasive helmet protects the operator?s head completely while delivering clean air during blasting.
Clemco blast helmets comply with all international requirements and are CE-approved and certified. Another CE-approved feature is the nylon or leather cape attachment, which protects the upper body against rebounding abrasive. Fresh air is supplied via a CE-approved breathing hose. A chinstrap keeps the helmet level with the eyes and maintains position regardless of movement. The multiple safety lenses, scratchproof and highly durable, are fixed in layers within the lens frame and can be easily replaced.

Clemco-produced abrasive metering valves are constructed of high-quality, abrasive-resistant components and can suit all abrasive medias. The manual and pneumatically-controlled valves from Clemco have proven their value a thousand times over in every application. Clemco media valves dispense abrasive in an even, regulated flow, offsetting irregularities during pressurization and depressurization, making for consistent ease of use. Pneumatic controls respond far more quickly than manual ones, increasing operator safety through immediate start/stop control of the blast stream. The ?fail-to-safe? feature of control handle release ensures that, should the operator drop the blast hose or encounter any other problems, the blast stream stops immediately.

Compressor-supplied breathing air can vary according to the local climate, quickly becoming uncomfortable and impairing productivity. Incoming air, heated by compression, can be cooled up to 16?C by a Clemco air conditioning unit, keeping the operator comfortable hot climates. The Clemco air conditioner is an indispensable safety accessory, particularly in enclosed blast environments and warmer weather.
